Financial Aid Program

BFC provides financial aid to those players and families who demonstrate a financial need.  All financial aid applicants must complete the Financial Application. Financial aid is provided if money is available and there is a proven financial need.  Applications will be prioritized by both need & the order received. Applications received first will have higher priority than those received later.

Important Things to Know

  • Financial Aid ONLY covers BFC program fees, when applicable.
    • Financial Aid players are still responsible for player kit, shoes, shin guards and any other out of pocket expenses.
    • I.E. travel cost
  • Tournament Fees - depends on the tournament, Financial Aid may not be offered since most Tournaments are OPTIONAL.
  • ALL Financial Aid players must maintain "good standing" with the club.  This includes but not limited to the following:  sideline behavior, player attenance in training sessions, player attendance in games, and player attendance in tournament play, when applicable.
  • All Financial Aid parents are required to volunteer a minimum of (5) hours per player, per season if family receives financial aid assistance.
  • Financial aid players must apply to receive aid for each BFC program they register for.
    • Financial aid is not automatic for families.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Financial aid is distributed to support as many families as possible.  When completing the financial aid application BFC will request the desired percentage (%) a families is requesting and why. It is common practice to provide 20%-40% financial aid assistance, to the families in need.  In extreme circumstances BFC will provide 60%-80% financial aid assistance, if there are available funds.

Buffalos FC will work with all of our families, and does not want to turn away players just because of money.  BFC asks that only families who truly need the financial support apply for financial aid.

There are a lot of ways to save money on our programs; from fundraising through Birdies for Charity (100% support the players), sibling discounts, early bird registration discounts, promo codes & we will even customize a payment plan to fit your family's budget.
